Did Ratstripe ever feel like a rat?
Define "rat".
Ratstripe was usually a mellow, loyal, casual cat, thinking of destruction and power and becoming leader but hiding it excellently well. He mostly felt cheery, but sometimes he felt rather cranky. Could that be defined as a "rat"? Perhaps, perhaps not. What kind of rat do you mean? Ratstripe, though sometimes like a nice rat and sometimes like a mean one, but he would never say he was a rat...therefore, how could he feel like a rat? The tawny-and-black tabby had been pondering this thought nearly all day. Who was really to judge his rat-ness? Ratstripe shook his head and shrugged the thought off.

As Streamheart started walking, she saw Ratstripe nearby, deep in though. She approached him and stared at him with concern "Are you alright?" she asked.

"Of course. Just thinking. It's a nice day, isn't it?" Ratstripe mewed. He was in a relatively good mood today. The tawny-and-black tom flicked his tail.

Softstep, as well, walked over. It was a beautiful day out, and her short, yet long-furred tail was constantly being played with by the breezes. She sat down next to the two. "Streamheart, Ratstripe," she said with a slight nod, in her more formal way of a "hello." Ever since she'd been promoted to deputy, she'd been less of the rather happy-go-lucky character she used to be. "It'll be a full moon, soon," she mused.

Jadesnow yawned and padded over to the three warriors. "Hello Softstep." he mewed, lightly brushing the tip of his tail against the deputy's muzzle. "Hi Ratstripe, Streamheart." he purred. "Great day isn't it."
